Since synthesizing our first gene in 2004, Epoch Life Science (originally Epoch Biolabs) has evolved into one of the most dedicated gene synthesis companies. Our expertise is well-documented in a plethora of references from peer-reviewed journals and patents. At Epoch, every project is taken seriously, with a focus on accuracy, speed, and cost efficiency. Our PhD experts are dedicated to helping you design your projects using their extensive knowledge in protein biochemistry, structural biology, cell biology, and molecular biology, minimizing the risk of wasting money and, more importantly, saving your time and efforts in reaching your final goals. Our dedication to our customers is unmatched. Epoch Life Science can accommodate hundreds of projects simultaneously with hundreds of well-trained associates. Even difficult gene sequences with high GC content, hairpin structures, and tandem repeats won't deter us. Your gene synthesis needs are in good hands with our expert team, and we are here to help accelerate your research.

Take advantage of our expertise in codon optimization for a wide range of organisms, including insect cell, bacteria, yeast, and mammalian cells. Our advanced codon optimization algorithms, which is offered free with your gene orders, ensure that your gene is optimized for maximum expression and functionality.

Figure Above: Codon optimization for E.coli expression.
Lane 1, Total cell extract of uninduced blank vector control; Lane 2, Total cell extract from un-optimized wild-type gene; Lane 3, Total cell extract from codon optimized gene;  Lane 4, Supernatant of uninduced blank vector control; Lane 5, Supernatant from un-optimized gene; Lane 6, Supernatant from codon optimized gene. Target protein is ~60 kD.

Figure Below: Codon optimization for HEK293 cell expression.
10 randomly selected optimized sequences, together with the un-optimized wild-type gene were synthesized and expressed with His-tag in HEK293 cell. Protein expression level was measured using His-tag specific ELISA with serial diluted samples.
