SeqPure™ is a unique dual-function resin engineered for efficient removal of sequencing contaminants while preserving fluorescently labeled extension products in solution.
SeqPure™ Resin incorporates:
- An ion-exchange core designed to capture charged small-molecule contaminants
- A size-exclusion outer layer that selectively limits access based on molecular size
This architecture enables preferential sequestration of unwanted reaction components including:
- Unincorporated dye terminators
- Residual salts and buffer components
- Small charged impurities
At the same time, the larger fluorescent labeled ssDNA fragments remain suspended in the supernatant and are immediately available for electrokinetic injection.
By minimizing loss of sequencing products during cleanup, SeqPure™ helps maintain strong signal intensity while reducing background noise and dye artifacts that can interfere with electropherogram interpretation.
Unlike precipitation-based methods that rely on recovery and resuspension of DNA pellets, SeqPure™ performs cleanup directly in solution, simplifying workflow and improving reproducibility across samples.
